Systems Analysts

Job Description

Systems Analysts for Des Plaines, IL location. Work with datacenter operations, systems administration, and provide technical support for a wide range of hardware and software systems.

Responsible for maintaining maximum uptime of the enterprise environment, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring reliable performance of network and server equipment. Provide onsite support for datacenter hardware and network equipment, including Dell series products, IBM servers, Cisco Nexus 5K/7K, UCS chassis, and blade chassis.

Perform configuration and troubleshooting of Red Hat Linux (using Kickstart) and VMware ESXi. Analyze root causes for application, network, and hardware issues, ensuring rapid resolution. Provide technical expertise on implementing information security standards and on enterprise applications architecture by providing guidance on the integration of applications architecture standards into business processes.

Technical Environment

Linux Administration, IBM Server Administration, SQL, AWS, Azure Cloud Services, Python, Network Administration (LDAP, NFS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH), Bash Scripting, CISCO Administration, Server Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in datacenter operations.

Salary
