Home Health Aide (HHA)

Job Overview

We're seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to assist patients with daily living activities and personal care. This rewarding role allows you to make a direct impact on patients' quality of life while working under the supervision of our skilled nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans developed by registered nurses
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and safety at all times

Required Qualifications

• Illinois Home Health Aide certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health or caregiving experience
• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care

Work Schedule

Full-time, flexible scheduling available. Monday - Friday with occasional weekends. Typical shift: 4-8 hours per patient, 1-3 patients per day depending on care needs.
